Setting the Compiler Flag (IBM AIX on IBM i Systems Only)

In order to avoid Package Build failures, you must modify your JDE.INI as described in this procedure.

To set the compile flag on AIX systems:

1. Open the JDE.INI on your Enterprise Server using an ASCII editor such as vi.

2. Update the values of the LinkFlags setting in the [BSFN BUILD] section to add -ltextsearch to the list of libraries to be loaded. For example:

   LinkFlags=-bI:${INSTALL_PATH}/system/bin32/funclist.imp -bM:SRE -bexpall 
   -brtl -lc -lm -bnoentry -L. -L${INSTALL_PATH}/system/lib -ljdelib 
   -lcallobj -lerror -lgentext -ljdb -ljde_erk -ljdecache -ljdeddapi 
   -ljdeknet -ljderepl -ljdeschr -ljdesec -ljdespec -ljdetam -llanguage 
   -lmisc -lpackage -lport -lqueueknl -lruntime -lsrc -ltransmon -lube 
   -lworkflow -ljdesaw -ljdenet -lowver -ljdeunicode -lv_verify 
   -lxerceswrapper -ltextsearch -bloadmap:loadmap
