Changing the Job Queue Entries

The QBATCH job queue may not have enough Max Active jobs which will slow the package build process. Consider increasing the number of active jobs to 3-5 jobs.

To display job queue options, use the display subsystem description DSPSBSD command, and then select option 6.

Verify that the Max Active jobs is within the 3-5 jobs range.

You can alter the QBATCH job queue with the following change job queue entry CHGJOBQE command and set the MAXACT jobs parameter to the desired number of simultaneous active jobs.
