64-bit processing

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne has supported 64-bit hardware, operating systems, databases, Java, and middleware for many years. Multiple JD Edwards components, such as HTML Server, AIS Server, Orchestrator and other Java-based components, are 64-bit enabled. To round out our architecture, JD Edwards will enable 64-bit processing for the Enterprise Server and Development Client.

Note: You can upgrade to EnterpriseOne Tools release 9.2.3 without implementing 64-bit processing. Support of Workflow Modeler is deprecated with 64-bit processing.

Change Component for the Deployment Server

You can change the Deployment Server Component from 32-bit to 64-bit. The options available are: No multi-foundation, component change only, Component change and backup current system for multi-foundation, and Component download for multi-foundation only.
