Server Manager: REST APIs

This feature creates additional external REST API exposure for Server Manager to manage development clients, as well as provide environment information for runtime metrics of Enterprise Server processes.

See the following topics in the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools REST API for Server Manager Guide:

Optimized Sessions Management on Oracle Database

This feature enables you to set a time limit for the database session while you are running your JD Edwards with Oracle Database. It ensures termination of the database sessions whenever the session time exceeds a threshold thereby freeing up the database resources in a timely manner, which can be utilized for subsequent database sessions.

See the following topic in the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools Server Manager Guide:

Support for Microsoft SQL Server Clustering

Starting with Tools Release 9.2.26.0, customers using Microsoft SQL Server as their database can take advantage of its clustering capabilities with Always On Failover Cluster Instance and Always On availability groups to achieve better business continuity and system availability. This feature provides high availability of the database with graceful database failover during planned maintenance.

See the following topic in the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools Server Manager Guide:

OAuth Authentication Support for Outbound Messaging

This feature provides additional authentication security for EnterpriseOne outbound messages through OAuth 2.0. Unlike basic authentication, OAuth 2.0 uses token-based access, eliminating the need to store or transmit sensitive credentials, thus reducing the risk of unauthorized access and data breaches significantly.

See the following topic in the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools Server Manager Guide:

Move and Improve – Migration and Update Toolkit

This feature enables you to capture your existing JD Edwards EnterpriseOne on-premises environment and import it into a new, updated, code-current Oracle cloud environment. The toolkit enables you to accomplishing multiple migrations in a single cycle. It captures essential JD Edwards environment components and data, and then import this data to the Oracle Cloud infrastructure. Upon import, the new Oracle cloud environment is configured and optimized to perform an update to the latest JD Edwards EnterpriseOne version.
