Setting Up Activity Source

Access the Attributes tab from the Revise Activity Source form.

Activity Source

Enter a value that uniquely identifies a source responsible for emissions resulting from energy consumption or from production in an activity.

Activity Source Description

Enter a description for the activity source.

Activity Source Long Description

Enter a detailed description for the activity source.

Activity Type

Enter a value from UDC 20S/AT that indicates the type of environmental activity.

Transaction Source

Enter a value from UDC 20S/TS that specifies how a transaction should be recorded for an activity source. Enter V to record transaction via invoices.

Note: With one of the subsequent enhancements, this field will assist you in avoiding the duplicate recording of resource consumption, for example fuel or energy, from different sources. This UDC will have additional values as and when additional JD Edwards applications are enabled to record the sustainability data.

Determinant

Enter a value that identifies the determinant for the determinant type for an activity type. This helps in determining the appropriate emission factor for emission calculation.

Access the Category Codes tab from the Revise Activity Source form.

Category Code 01-10

Enter values from 1 through 10 from UDC 20S/01 through 20S/10 respectively as per your business requirement.
