Downloading Language Fixes and Update Packages from the Oracle JD Edwards Update Center

To download language fix and language update packages which are in the multi-platform format:

  1. Access the Oracle JD Edwards Update Center.
  2. In the Search section, set the following criteria:
    1. In the Type field, select JD Edwards EnterpriseOne.
    2. In the Release field, select 9.2.
    3. In the Platform field, select Multi-platform.
  3. Enter the language prefix (for example JPN* for Japanese) in the Search for Name field to further limit the language package search and click Search.
  4. Review the search results.
    Note: The names of the language packages are in these formats:

    Language Fixes (LNG_LF####, example JPN_LF0043)

    Language Update Packages (LNG{PartNumber}_enhancement, example JPN242_OTC)

  5. Click the download icon for the language pack you want to add to your downloads (for example, JPN_LF0043 for Japanese). The language fix package is added to your Download Basket.
  6. From the Download Basket, download the package as a portable archive (.PAR) file.
