Server Manager
To configure case-insensitive search setting:
Log in to the Server Manager console as a system administrator and select the JAS server from the management dashboard.
Navigate to the Configuration section for the selected JAS server and select Advanced option from the View drop-down menu.
In the Web Runtime section, set the value for the "Case Insensitive Search" parameter as True or False. The default value of this parameter is False.
Setting the parameter to "True" enables case-insensitive search for case-sensitive databases, which allows the system to query the database for an uppercase version, lowercase version, title case version, and exact match of the search request entered.
Setting the parameter to "False" enables the system to query the database only for the search request entered.
This configuration setting is applicable only to the EnterpriseOne Search and Task Search functionalities, and has no impact on any other database queries within EnterpriseOne.
