You must download and install Oracle Smart View for Office and the Smart View Extensions for Task Manager, Enterprise Journals, and Supplemental Data Manager.

If an extension is available for you to install, you can install it from the Extensions tab of the Smart View Options dialog box. See Installing Extensions.

You must create a private connection to use with the Task Manager, Enterprise Journals, and Supplemental Data Manager extensions. For more information, see Using the Private Connection Wizard.

The private connection URL syntax for the three extensions are as follows:

• For Task Manager:

  http(s)://serviceURL/HyperionPlanning/cm/svp

• For Supplemental Data Manager:

  http(s)://serviceURL/HyperionPlanning/sdm/svp

• For Enterprise Journals:

  http(s)://serviceURL/HyperionPlanning/ej/svp

After creating the connection, you will see the Task Manager connection listed in the drop-down menu in the Private Connection panel. You can use this connection to connect to your worklist. Once connected, the Task Manager ribbon appears and provides various actions to work on Task Manager tasks from Smart View.
