Oracle Smart View for Office requires Write access to the <Smart View Install>/cfg folder, properties.xml file during runtime. An "Access Denied" error may occur if users do not have permission to write to this folder or file when attempting the following operations:

• Saving a file to Oracle Fusion Cloud Enterprise Performance Management using the Save or Save As commands in the Smart View ribbon

• Performing ad hoc analysis
