Submitting Data

Cloud data source types: Oracle Analytics Cloud - Essbase, Planning, Financial Consolidation and Close, Tax Reporting

On-premises data source types: Oracle Essbase, Oracle Hyperion Financial Management, Oracle Hyperion Planning

To submit data:

  1. Connect to the data source.
  2. Optional: To help you identify modified cells, set a cell style for dirty cells, as described in Cell Styles.
  3. Essbase only: If you are working in free-form mode with an Essbase on-premises release earlier than 11.1.2.1.102, from the Essbase ribbon, select Refresh.
  4. Modify data as needed.
  5. From any ribbon, select Submit Data.

    All dirty cells on the worksheet are submitted.
