Issue: In a distributed environment, when you upgrade from versions prior to 11.2.15 where Foundation and HPCM are on separate nodes (for example, from 11.2.12, 11.2.13 or 11.2.14 to 11.2.15 and then to 11.2.16 or 11.2.17) , HPCM fails to launch.

Workaround:

1. Copy the following XML file from Oracle Hyperion Foundation services machine to the Profitability machine:

   MIDDLEWARE_HOME\user_projects\domains\EPMSystem\config\jms\jrfwsasyncjmsmodule_profitability-jms.xml

2. Log on to the WebLogic Server Administration Console (http://WebLogic Adminhost:WebLogic Admin port/console).

   1. On the Domain Structure panel, select Services, then Messaging and then JMS Servers.
   2. Ensure that the health check for JRFWSAsyncJmsServer_Profitability0_auto_1 is displaying OK.
   3. Select JRFWSAsyncJmsServer_Profitability0_auto_1 and then click Lock & Edit.
   4. Click Save and then click on Release Configuration.
3. Restart WebLogic and all the services.
