To upgrade VC++ from versions 11.2.15-11.2.20 to 11.2.21, follow these steps:

1. Stop all the services. See Starting and Stopping EPM System Products for more information on starting and stopping services.
2. Apply Update 11.2.21 on all the machines (for distributed environments).
3. Uninstall the following redistributables from all machines:
   • Microsoft Visual C++ 2010
   • Microsoft Visual C++ 2012
   • Microsoft Visual C++ 2013
   • Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2019 (14.29.30040)
4. Navigate to the following path and install the latest Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2022 (14.42.34433) by running vcredist_x64.exe

   EPM_ORACLE_HOME/common/VisualCRedistributable/17.0/vcredist_x64.exe

5. Restart the machine.
6. Redeploy all web apps on all machines.

   Note:

   If you have Oracle Hyperion Financial Management configured, run HFM Application Server configuration task.
7. Start all the services. See Starting and Stopping EPM System Products for more information on starting and stopping services
8. Generate the validation report and verify the results.
