Deleting Conditional Formats

You can delete a format when the conditions it contains are no longer applicable. For example, if a format contains six conditions and you delete the format, you delete all six conditions contained in that one format.

To delete a format:

  1. In a grid, select a cell or cells, and then click Conditional Format button; or, right-click a cell, then select Format, and then Conditional Format.
  2. In the Conditional Format, dialog box, click Delete Format button.
  3. If there is more than one format, from the drop-down list, select the format to delete.
  4. Click OK to return to the grid.
