Configure Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) Attributes Mapping to Trips and Trip Stops Descriptive Flexfields
You can now configure the mapping of Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) attributes to descriptive flexfields (DFFs) in the Trips and Trip Stops tables. You can search "Shipment Reference Number Qualifiers" or "Shipment Stop Reference Number Qualifiers" under OTM help for setup information.
This allows you to more easily integrate additional data from OTM to EBS Shipping based on your business needs.
Prior to Release 12.2.15, you can interface OTM attributes to EBS Shipping using the Trips and Trip Stops descriptive flexfields and a custom hook introduced in Release 12.2.14.
This enhancement is applicable to both Delivery and Batch based integrations with OTM. Values from OTM are found in the following objects: DB Objects WSH_OTM_TRIP_OBJ and WSH_OTM_STOP_OBJ. The values passed in these attributes are mapped to corresponding DFFs for Trip and Trip Stop. As an ready-to-use solution, we use the following mapping.

Tips And Considerations
You need to create the Shipment and Stop Reference number qualifiers as described in the OTM domain. The Reference number values will automatically be mapped to corresponding DFF columns in EBS.
If the Shipment Reference number qualifiers are not created, then data will not be moved automatically to EBS DFF.
There is no validation process the data being populated in the DFF. All the data sent from OTM is moved to DFF attribute columns.
If you want to map any other columns from OTM to EBS DFF columns, then you must modify the BPEL jar file and update the existing mappings.
