Locating the Installed Client Log File

Use the log file generated by the installed client to help troubleshoot issues.

Note

If using the browser to access the desktop, a log file isn't generated.
  1. Locate the log file on your local system:
    • Windows: C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Sun\SSGD\tcc.txt
      Note

      To view the AppData directory, enable the show hidden files and folders setting in Windows File Explorer.
    • Linux: /var/log/messages
    • macOS: /var/log/system.log
  2. Provide the log file to the desktop administrator or Oracle support as necessary to assist with troubleshooting.
