Desktop Doesn't Respond

Desktops can stop responding for many reasons. For example, there might be an operating system or software bug, or applications might run out of resources to run properly.

The desktop will also stop responding if you eject the virtIO Ethernet Adapter. If you need to change network settings, contact the desktop administrator.

  1. Close the installed client window, or web browser, and then try opening the desktop again.
  2. Caution

    Your desktop session might not be saved and you might lose data.
    If the desktop doesn't open, ask the desktop administrator to restart the desktop, and then open the desktop again.
