Viewing Profile Details
View which resources are associated with a specific profile in OS Management Hub.
Navigate
- Navigate to the Profiles list page.
- In Applied filters, select the Compartment that contains the profile you're interested in.
- Select the name of the profile.
View contents for the /etc/osmh-profile file
Select View to display contents for the
/etc/osmh-profilefile which is used when registering a non-OCI instance.Profile information
- OCID: Unique Oracle Cloud Identifier (OCID) assigned for the profile.
- Compartment: Compartment where the profile resides.
- Description: User-provided description of the profile.
- Profile type: The type of profile, such as Software source or Group.
- Instance type: The location of the instance.
- Management station: The management station used by the instance. This applies to on-premises and third-party cloud only.
- Vendor: The OS vendor.
- OS version: OS used on the instance.
- Architecture: Processor architecture used on the instance.
- Current version: The version of the profile. Each time you edit the profile, a new version is created.
- Default profile: Indicates if the profile is the default for the OS version, architecture, and type.
- Service provided profile: Indicates if this profile is a Service-provided profile.
- Created: Date and time the profile was created.
Related information
On the profiles details page, related information is organized in tabs. In many of these tabs, you can use the Search and Filter field to restrict the list of resources shown to match the chosen criteria.
- Associated resources tab: Displays the list of resources associated with the profile (such as group, lifecycle, or software sources).
- Tags tab: Displays the list of tags assigned to the profile.
