Removing Vendor Software Sources from a Custom Software Source

Remove a vendor software source from a custom software source in OS Management Hub to make content unavailable to instances that use the custom software source.

A custom software source must contain at least one vendor software source.

Important

Removing software sources might prevent instances that use the custom software source from receiving updates.

    1. On the Software Sources list page, select the name of the software source.
    2. Select the Software sources tab.
    3. In Applied filters, select the Compartment for the software source.
    4. In the Associated software sources table, select the vendor software sources to remove.
    5. From the Actions menu, select Remove.
      Tip

You can also perform this action for a single software source in the table, using the source's row actions menu (Actions icon).

    6. Confirm the removal.
