Adding Vendor Software Sources to a Custom Software Source

Expand the available content of an existing custom software source by adding vendor software sources to it in OS Management Hub.

    1. On the Software Sources list page, select the name of the software source.
    2. Select the Software sources tab.
    3. Select Add.
    4. In Applied filters, select the Compartment for the software source.
    5. Use the Search and filter field to filter the list of software sources.
    6. Select the required vendor software sources in the list and then select Add.
      Note

      If the expected sources don't appear in the list, you might need to modify the filters or package list of the custom software source.

  • Use the oci os-management-hub software-source update-custom-swsrc command and required parameters to update a custom software source, such as adding or removing software sources.

    oci os-management-hub software-source update-custom-swsrc --software-source-id ocid --vendor-software-sources software-source-ocids [OPTIONS]
