Synchronize Exadata Autonomous Databases

This process allows you to synchronize Exadata Database Service on Dedicated Infrastructure Autonomous Databases (ADB-D) added into Ops Insights prior to July 1st, 2025, to their respective Exadata Database Systems.

Legacy ADB-D databases will not automatically be linked to the Autonomous VM Cluster and Exadata preventing grouping and filtering from working properly. To remedy this and link them in Ops Insights follow these steps:

  1. Add the Autonomous Database Exadata Database Service on Dedicated Infrastructure cluster into Ops Insights by following the steps outlined in Add an Exadata Database Service on Dedicated Infrastructure.
    Note

This same process can be used for previously enabled Exadata systems.
  2. Navigate to Ops Insights, then select Administration, and click on Exadata Fleet.

Click on the Exadata System you wish to synchronize.

  3. On the Exadata system details page select the compartment where the ADB's are located, and click on the Synchronize Autonomous Databases button.

The synchronized databases will now show under their respective Exadata Database Service on Dedicated Infrastructure systems.
