HeatWave Known Issues

These known issues have been identified in HeatWave.

Cannot Move a DB System to Another Compartment

Details
When you create a new DB system, you can choose which compartment to place the DB system. After the DB is created, you cannot move it to a different compartment.
Workaround
Back up the DB system and restore the backup to a new DB system in another compartment.

Cannot Set Compartment Quotas

Details
HeatWave Service does not support Compartment Quotas. You cannot specify a quota policy to limit the amount of HeatWave resources at the compartment level.
Workaround
We are aware of the issue and working on a resolution.

Cannot Show Resource Usage and Available

Details
HeatWave Service does not provide the resource usage and available of its service limits. For example, the Limits, Quotas and Usage page in the Console only shows the Service Limit of HeatWave Service and no value is shown in the Usage and Available columns.
Workaround
We are aware of the issue and working on a resolution.

Cannot Search HeatWave Resources

Details
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Search Service does not support HeatWave. It cannot search the metadata of HeatWave resources. For example, searching for a keyword used in the display name of a DB system does not show the DB system in the search result.
