Note

  • The JMS plug-in for the Oracle Cloud Agent is currently available only on Oracle Linux. To monitor OCI instances that are not running on Oracle Linux, it is recommended to use the Oracle Management Agent. See Installing Management Agent and Deploying JMS Plug-in for more details.
  • Ensure that your system has minimum of 300 MiB of available disk space and 500 MiB of memory.

To monitor Kubernetes clusters, JMS Fleets supports the following environments and configurations:

    PowerShell version 5.1 or any version below 7 is required to run the installer or installation script.

Advanced Features
Agent software:
  • Oracle Management Agent: 221111.1439 or later, which is running on Oracle JDK 8u361 or later
  • Oracle Cloud Agent: 1.34 or later
  • Oracle Management Agent Container Image 1.7.0 and above with OCI Kubernetes Monitoring Solution Helm Chart oci-onm-3.6.0 and above

Support for the latest JDK version in Migration Analysis may be included in the subsequent agent release.

To ensure compatibility and access to advanced features, it is strongly recommended to always use the latest versions of the OCA and OMA agent software.

Java versions:

Advanced features other than Java Runtime Lifecycle Management and Migration Analysis can be invoked only on Java workloads running:

  • Oracle Java 8 version; releases 8u361 or later
  • All Oracle and OpenJDK releases of Java 11 and later versions

Migration Analysis can be invoked on Java workloads running on Oracle and OpenJDK releases of Java 8 and later versions.

Note

  • Advanced features may not work as expected with 32-bit workloads.
  • Advanced features other than Run JDK Flight Recorder is not supported for Kubernetes workloads.
