D Getting Help
Follow the guidance below if you encounter an error or issue with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure or need help with Java Management Service.
Troubleshooting using a script
JMS provides a log collector script to use for troubleshooting purposes for your Managed Instance(s). You can share the script output with support in order to better understand the issue that you have encountered. The script collects all log files and produces the result in a zip file.
Run the Script
For Windows:
- Open a command prompt as administrator.
- At the prompt, type
C:\Oracle\mgmt_agent\plugins\jm\<userdir>\collect_logs.ps1
For Linux non OCA:
- Open a terminal as administrator.
- At the prompt, type
/opt/oracle/mgmt_agent/plugins/jm/<userdir>/collect_logs.sh
For Linux OCA:
- Open a terminal as administrator.
- At the prompt, type
/usr/libexec/oracle-cloud-agent/plugins/oci-jms/collect_logs.sh
For macOS:
- Open a terminal as administrator.
- At the prompt, type
/Library/Oracle/mgmt_agent/plugins/jm/<userdir>/collect_logs.sh
