Restrictions

Note the following restrictions when creating Oracle Integration instances.

  • For Oracle Integration in Government Regions, see Restrictions in Using Oracle Integration 3 on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure US Government Cloud.
  • You can create Oracle Integration 3 instances in any Oracle data region listed in Availability.
  • You can create the Oracle Integration instance in any identity domain that's available in the current region (the region in which you're creating the instance). That means you can create the instance in:
    • The default identity domain (which is available in all regions to which the tenant is subscribed).
    • Any identity domain created in the current region.
    • An identity domain that was created in another region and has been replicated to the current region. See Replicating an Identity Domain to Multiple Regions.
  • To create an Oracle Integration instance, you must be a tenancy administrator or have been granted the permissions required to create Oracle Integration instances. See Manage Access and Assign Roles.
  • You can no longer create a new Oracle Integration Generation 2 instance.
    Note

Oracle Integration Generation 2 will be discontinued on August 31, 2025. You must upgrade any Oracle Integration Generation 2 instances to Oracle Integration 3.
