Editing a Configuration's TLS Version

Enable the latest Transport Layer Security (TLS) version on an existing database system by editing the database system's configuration. Using the latest TLS version improves security because of updated cryptographic algorithms and protections.

You can enable the latest TLS version on a database system in the following ways.

• Applying the Updated Default Configuration for the TLS Version (if the database system doesn't use a custom configuration)
• Applying an Updated Custom Configuration for the TLS Version (if the database system uses a custom configuration)
