Deleting a Mac Server

Delete one or more Mac servers from a completed order.

At the end of the billing period, you can delete one or more selected Mac servers.

Note

You can't delete a Mac server during the 3-year commitment period.

    1. On the Orders list page, select the Mac server order that you want to work with. If you need help finding the list page or the order, see Listing Mac Server Orders.
    2. On the order's details page, select the Macs tab.
    3. Find the Mac server you want to delete. You can use the Search box to filter the Mac servers displayed based on portions of their serial numbers.
    4. From the Actions menu for the order, select Delete Macs.
      You can delete Mac servers in bulk from a completed order by selecting each server's checkbox and then selecting the Delete Macs button.
    5. When prompted, confirm the deletion.
  • Use the oci mngdmac mac-device mac-device terminate command and required parameters to delete a Mac server from a completed order:

    oci mngdmac mac-device mac-device terminate --mac-order-id mac_order_ocid --mac-device-id mac_device_uuid [OPTIONS]
