Updating a Private Endpoint

Update a private endpoint name, description, DNS prefix, usage in on-demand mode, network security groups, and tags in OCI Generative AI.

1. On the Private Endpoints list page, select the private endpoint that you want to work with. If you need help finding the list page for private endpoints, see Listing Private Endpoints.
2. From the Actions menu (three dots), select Edit.
3. Update the name, and description
4. Update the DNS prefix.
  A preview displays the fully qualified domain name (FQDN) with this DNS prefix. A fully qualified domain name is a complete unique name for a network resource, that's resolved to a specific IP address. For example,
  <DNS-prefix>.pe.inference.generativeai.us-chicago-1.oci.oraclecloud.com
5. Select whether to Allow Usage In On-Demand Mode for the private endpoint. Learn about Accessing an on-demand model.
6. Select whether to add one or more network security groups by selecting Add network security group for each group that you want to add.

7. Select Update.
8. (Optional) Update the tags for this endpoint.
