Updating a SQL Tool in Generative AI Agents

  1. On the Agents list page, select the agent that has the SQL tool you want to update.
    If you need help finding the list page, see Listing Agents
  2. In the Tools list of the agent, select the name of the SQL tool.
    A SQL tool is identified by the type SQL_TOOL_CONFIG.
  3. On the tool details page, select Edit.
  4. On the Edit tool panel, update the SQL tool configuration details as needed.
    For help with the fields and options, see Creating a SQL Tool, step 2 to step 11.
  5. Generation LLM: Select a model for the SQL tool from the following options:
      • Default: A model used by the Generative AI Agents service
      • Generative AI model: A model hosted in the Generative AI service
      • Generative AI endpoint: A model hosted on a dedicated AI cluster endpoint in the Generative AI service
    Tip

  6. If you selected Generative AI model select a model. Based on the region that you're creating the SQL tool in, the list of models populates.
  7. If you selected Generative AI endpoint, select the Generative AI endpoint compartment and the endpoint.
  8. (Optional) Update the default hyperparameters.
    Hyperparameters and their default values differ by model type.
  9. Select Save changes.
  10. (Optional) On the tool details page, select the Add tags tab to add tags to this tool. After adding tags, select the Tags tab to view and manage the tool's defined and free-form tags.
