Getting a Function Calling Tool's Details in Generative AI Agents

  1. On the Agents list page, select the agent that you want to view details for, including endpoints and tools.
    If you need help finding the list page, see Listing Agents
  2. On the agent details page, under Resources, select Tools.
  3. Select the name of a function calling tool that you want to see details for.
    A function calling tool is identified by the type FUNCTION_CALLING_TOOL_CONFIG.
  4. On the Tool information tab, view the following details:
    • Basic information such as tool name, description, OCID, compartment, and creation date and time.
    • The function name and description
    • The function parameters
  5. Select the Tags tab to view the defined and free-form tags that are associated with this tool.
