Updating a Lifecycle Operation Task

Update the name of a custom lifecycle operation in Fleet Application Management.

If you update a lifecycle operation that's associated with a runbook, the runbook is also updated.

You can't update an Oracle-defined lifecycle operation task.

1. On the Lifecycle operations list page, find the lifecycle operation you want to work with. If you need help finding the list page or the lifecycle operation, see Listing Lifecycle Operations.
2. From the Actions menu () for the lifecycle operation, select Edit.
3. In the Edit lifecycle operation panel, update the lifecycle operation name or select a different compartment. Avoid entering confidential information..
4. Select Save changes.
Use the oci fleet-apps-management fleet-apps-management-admin platform-configuration update-platform-configuration-lifecycle-operation-config-category-details command and required parameters to update a lifecycle operation:
oci fleet-apps-management fleet-apps-management-admin platform-configuration update-platform-configuration-lifecycle-operation-config-category-details --platform-configuration-id <platform_configuration_OCID> [OPTIONS]
