Updating a Credential Name

Update a credential name in Fleet Application Management.

If you update a credential name that's associated with a product, the name is also updated in the product definition.

You can't update an Oracle-defined credential name.

1. On the Credential names list page, find the credential name that you want to work with. If you need help finding the list page or the credential name, see Listing Credential Names.
2. From the Actions menu () for the credential name, select Edit.
3. In the Edit credential name panel, update the credential name or select a different compartment. Avoid entering confidential information..
4. Select Save changes.
Use the oci fleet-apps-management fleet-apps-management-admin platform-configuration update-platform-configuration-credential-config-category-details command and required parameters to update a credential name:
oci fleet-apps-management fleet-apps-management-admin platform-configuration update-platform-configuration-credential-config-category-details --platform-configuration-id <platform_configuration_OCID> [OPTIONS]

Run the UpdatePlatformConfiguration operation to update a credential name.
