Fleet Infrastructure Provisioning in Fleet Application Management
Deploy changes to fleet resources by executing runbooks in Fleet Application Management.
Deploying changes to fleet resources refers to the process of making modifications or updates to a group of computing resources. The following is a summary of the various modifications:
- Provisioning: Creating and configuring new resources to expand capacity or replace outdated ones.
- Resizing: Adjusting the capacity of resources (for example, increasing the RAM or CPU of virtual machines) to better match current demands.
- Upgrading or downgrading: Changing the version or type of software or hardware to improve performance, security, or compatibility.
- Destroying: Removing resources that are no longer needed to save costs and reduce complexity. Destroying resources should be done carefully to avoid disrupting active services.
