Linking Data Entities

Annotate data entities by linking them to glossary categories, subcategories, or terms.

Ensure that the categories and terms you want to link to your data entities are created in your glossary.

1. On the Home tab, click Data Entities.
2. On the Data Entities page, do one of the following:
  
  Select the check box of the data entity for which you want to link terms and categories, and then click Link Terms and Categories.
  
  Click the data entity for which you want to link terms and categories. On the data entity details page, in the Business Glossary Terms and Categories section of the Summary tab, click Link Terms and Categories.
3. In the Link Terms and Categories panel that appears, select one or more glossary categories, subcategories, or terms that you want to use to annotate the data entity.
4. Click Link.
