Rotating Customer-Managed Keys

Rotate a customer-managed key and re-encrypt the cluster after rotation of the key in Big Data Service.

Go to the Vault service, choose encryption key, and then select Rotate. See Managing Keys.
On the Clusters list page, select the cluster that you want to work with. If you need help finding the list page or the cluster, see Listing Clusters in a Compartment.
On the Cluster details page, select the Actions menu.
Select Update encryption.
Select one of the following options:
- Encrypt using Oracle-managed keys: For more information, see Switching Back to Oracle-Managed Encryption Keys or Switching From Oracle-Managed Key to a Customer-Managed Key
- Encrypt using customer-managed keys: For more information, see Switching Between Customer-Managed Keys
Select Update.
