Automatically Backup Cluster Nodes
Create automatic node backups Big Data Service for cluster master, utility, and Edge nodes from the Cluster details page.
- On the Clusters list page, select the cluster that you want to work with. If you need help finding the list page or the cluster, see Listing Clusters in a Compartment.
- On the Cluster details page, under Resources, select Node backup configurations.
- Select Create node backup configuration.
- In the Create node backup configuration dialog box, enter a Display name.
- Select the Node level from the dropdown list.
- If you select Node level in the Node level field, the Host name field is displayed. Select host from the available hosts in the dropdown list.
- If you select Node type level in the Node level field, the Node type field is displayed. Select Master, Utility, or Edge from the dropdown list.
- Select the Schedule type, and enter the pertinent information.
- Select the Backup type.
- Select Create.
Use the create-node-backup-configuration command and required parameters to configure automatic backup of a nodes.
