Adding Identity Configuration to a Cluster

To use either User Principal Session Token (UPST) configuration or IAM user sync configuration, you must first create an identity configuration for Big Data Service cluster.

  1. Open the navigation menu and click Analytics & AI. Under Data Lake, click Big Data Service.
  2. Under Compartment, select the compartment that contains the cluster.
  3. In the list of clusters, click the name of the cluster.
  4. On the Cluster details page, click Identity domain configurations.
  5. In the Identity domain configurations panel, enter the following information:
    1. Display name
    2. Identity domain ID
    3. Confidential application ID

      This is the ID for the confidential application, not its OCID.

    4. Cluster admin password
  6. Click Create.
