Editing a Schedule-based Autoscaling Configuration and Viewing Pool Size Forecast

Complete the following steps to edit an schedule-based autoscaling configuration.

  • Navigate to the Autoscaling configurations list page. If you need help finding the list page, see Listing Autoscaling Configurations.

    Edit name and cooldown

    1. Select an autoscaling configuration.
    2. Select Edit. You can edit Name and Cooldown in seconds.
    3. Select Update to save changes.

    Edit autoscaling policies

    To edit autoscaling policies for this configuration:

    1. Select an autoscaling configuration.
    2. Select the Autoscaling polices tab.
    3. From the Actions menu (three dots) for the policy select Edit.
    4. Make your updates. Avoid entering confidential information.

    5. Select Update to save changes.

    View the pool size forecast

    To view the pool size forecast:

    1. Select an autoscaling configuration.
    2. Select the Pool size Forecast tab.
    3. Select the Applied filters control to adjust the time and date for the policies to be viewed.
    4. This forecast shows how the autoscaling schedule is expected to affect the pool size in the future. The forecast does not guarantee the actual pool size.
  • Use the autoscaling configuration update command and required parameters to edit an autoscaling configuration:

    oci autoscaling configuration update --from-json <file://path/to/file.json>
