The following guidelines must be met before you configure IGMP:
Enable IGMP globally and on the interface on which IGMP is needed.
Execute at least one interface configuration command to create the IGMP interface.
Enable IGMP globally before enabling the IGMP proxy-service.
Disable multicast routing protocols before enabling the IGMP proxy-service.
