When a view is copied it contains all the charts, metrics, and configuration settings of the view from which it is copied.
To copy a view:
A new view entry is created in the View List with a default name, and is automatically selected.
Result
The copied view is displayed in the Monitoring Dashboard and is assigned a default name. You can modify the charts in metrics as appropriate as explained in Work with views in the Monitoring Dashboard. The changes you make to the copied view are persisted in the data archive when you exit from the Monitoring Dashboard and are available to you the next time you launch the Monitoring Dashboard.
