IDOMTextNode Interface

    extends IDOMNode

Interface representing a text node in the document. Text nodes are used to represent the text in between elements in the document, whitespace (or garbage characters) within attribute lists, attribute values, and the text of comments. The {#getNodeValue} method will always return the text of the text node exactly as it appears in the source code.

the number of characters to be replaced
